Alexander Skarsgard was born on August 25, 1976 in Stockholm, Sweden. After more than a year of military service, he went to England to study and went to Leeds Metropolitan University. After his graduation he moved to the USA and studied Theater acting for two years. In 1999, he experienced his first professional acting experience with a Swedish-made series called Vita Lögner, which portrayed Marcus.

In 2001, he starred in the film ”Zirtapoz” directed by Ben Stiller and starred in Hollywood cinema. In 2008, he starred in the U.S. popular television series True Blood. With his role here, he announced his name worldwide and took part in six seasons of the show. In addition to acting, Alexander Skarsgard, the Son of Stellan Skarsgard, also performed in the music clip ”Paparazzi” by singer Lady Gaga in 2009.
