Mark Ruffalo was born on November 22, 1967 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA. His father, a construction painter, spent most of his childhood in Virginia because of his profession. After graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles with his family and established his own Theater ensemble in these years. He was directing and writing plays with this theater group and playing himself.

In 2002, he was known for his ”talking with the wind” film, which he played with the famous actor Nicolas cage.
