Ricky Martin was born on December 24, 1971 in San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, and appeared in commercials in his country when he was only six. Towards the mid-1980s, he took his career one step further by performing vocalist of the Menudo group. After performing for five years together with the band, he left the band to focus on high school education and moved to the USA after his graduation.

When she was 20, she released her first album, which she named herself, but she didn't get enough attention from the market. In 1999, he again made another album called ”Ricky Martin”, and became famous worldwide for its album ”livin’ la vida Loce”. Ricky Martin, who came to Turkey for a time and was also a guest to Hülya Avşar's show program, was engaged with his friend Jwan Yosef of Arab origin in 2016.
